Volunteers in Fiji and across the Pacific are an essential part of PSP’s success. As a volunteer, you can spread the word online and in your local community, get hands-on experience in our campaigns, and help us acheive our goals for a greener, cleaner Pacific paradise.

Project Survival International Team

  • We are looking for International team members
  • Building Youth Climate Movements – We seek people who are interested in helping build youth climate movements both regionally and globally.
  • Members of this team will be the Pacific youth ambassadors representing the Pacific region at such events as the United Nations climate change meetings. Therefore, we seek people who are able to conduct themselves in a highly respectable manner and are able to speak on behalf of the youths of this region.

General Requirements for Applicants

  • preparedness to dedicate 3-6 hours per week to the project.
  • ability to work well in a team, and preparedness to conduct regular face-to-face meetings or Skype meetings.
  • we will favor applicants from Small Island Developing States (SIDS), in keeping true to our philosophy. However, the positions are open to applicants from any country.
  • we are very open to new ideas, skill sets and approaches to help strengthen the team.

PSP members make a tangible difference at the international climate change arena, meet like minded young people and are part of directly active and effective projects. You will be working with our current team of passionate, highly varied, innovative youth from areas ranging across government, policy, legal practice, research, community engagement and media.

Being part of the team offers an opportunity to be part of a small, targeted, fast-moving organization. We work close to the ground and work directly with the communities, negotiators and organizations that we effect. We like people who are great at making friends and meeting people, and who are not afraid to get in touch with the people they are trying to help. Working on our team will mean you will see projects through from their conception to completion, giving input and helping to steer the ship all the way.
