Thanks to the generosity of GetUp! and the European Youth Forum, eleven passionate climate advocates will be joining the PSP Australian base team for our trek across the world.

PSP’s new team members come from different nations and different backgrounds, representing a wide variety in age and experience. What they share (with each other and with us) is a passion for climate advocacy, and a willingness to work to ensure the survival of all peoples and nations.

We are so very pleased to be joined by Emma Airu Christopher and Krishneil Narayan (Fiji), Rebecca Asigau (Papua New Guinea), Diana Salili and Paul Nalau (Vanuatu), Luana Bosanquet-Heays and Rikana Toroma (Cook Islands), Christina Ora, Maylin Sese and Georgina Maka’a (Solomon Islands) and Carlos Kusto (Federated States of Micronesia).

The entire team have been working their little hearts out in preparation for COP15, with flights being booked, stunts being planned, visa applications being lodged, roles being assigned, policy being learned and media being pitched, but we are thrilled to say that, eleven days out, things seem to be coming together at last.

Readers stay tuned for more on our Pacific delegates in the coming days!

  1. Awkward says:

“The entire team have been working their little hearts out in preparation for COP15″ is a bit paternalistic isn’t it?

  2. Lauren Waugh says:

Awkward- the ‘entire team’ is our whole team- Australians and Pacific Islanders. Sorry if that came across as paternalistic, as it certainly wasn’t meant to read that way!

I would like to say that the stuff that is written here is unique in it’s own special way.
